Heil Sound AD-1-iC  Headset Boom-Microphone Adapter Cable, Electret, ICOM 8-Pin Round, w/Mono 1/4 in. Female Jack for PTT.

AD-1 series cables are required for Heil boom microphone headset model. All Heil Headset Adapter Cables use commercial-grade microphone connectors with dual-exit cable clamps. If you have several brands of transceivers, individual adapter cables may be connected to each radio, so you may quickly and easily move your Heil boom microphone headset from one transceiver to another.

Note 1: Use on 8 pin ICOM. No capacitor. Use only with our 'iC' electret condenser elements.
This has NO capacitor thus allowing the control voltage to reach the 'iC' element.

Note 2: The AD-1-iC is solely for use with the Pro Set iC, Pro Set Quiet Phones iC, and Pro Set Plus iC. The Pro Set 5, when used with Icom rigs, requires the AD-1-I, not the AD-1-iC; the AD-1-I includes a capacitor that blocks DC from hitting the dynamic microphone element in the Pro Set. . .this voltage will disable the element!

Heil Sound brand products are warranted for one year from the date of purchase to be free of defects in material or workmanship. In the event of such defect, the product will be replaced or repaired at the option of Heil Sound. This excludes defects due to normal wear, abuse, or failure to use the product in accordance with Heil Sound instructions.

Got a Koss SB45 headset, needed this plus 2adapters to work with my 7610. One for mic (1/8 stereo female to mono male) and one for earphones (1/8 stereo female to 1/4 mono male).
