The MFJ-850 Line Voltage Monitor is designed to plug into any 120 volt wall receptacle and provide a continuous, accurate reading of the A.C. line voltage. It can be left plugged in permanently.
It can prevent costly appliance bill repairs by warning against low voltage "brown outs" conditions. The green zone indicates proper line voltage. If the meter reads in either red zone appliances, motors, air conditioners and TV Sets should be shut off to prevent over heating or burn-out.
The MFJ-850 shows line voltage with a color coded scale that reads voltage from 95 - 135 volts with 2% accuracy. It measures a compact 2.25 x 2.25 x 1.5 inches and simply plugs into an AC outlet.
