    Heil Sound Black Pro 7 iC Headset, Electret Mic, Over-Ear Stereo HP, Straight and Coiled Cords, Requires AD-1-iC Adapter cable to fit your ICOM radio, sold separately.

    The Pro 7 is the most Popular Heil Sound Headset. It features 2" thick gel foam ear pads that exhibit passive noise reduction rated at -26dB, which is ideal for use in high ambient noise environments. The ear cup enclosures are tuned to the free air cone resonance of the speaker cone thus providing very low distortion with maximum voice articulation for communication. The exclusive Heil Phase Reversal system allows you to acoustically move the signals forward and creates a spatial widening of the sound field. This feature makes it easier to pull a weak signal from a pileup. A left channel attenuation control allows for preferred level adjustment between the speakers.

    The Pro 7 has an interchangeable microphone system featuring the HC-7, HC-74, and iC elements, the HC-7 is included but not the other 2 models. The latest version of the Pro 7 also features a monitor jack, allowing a second operator to plug in headphones to the Pro 7 to monitor audio. There is also balance control located on the Left speaker to balance the audio when necessary.
